If you are working with huge datasets, it can be quite time consuming, if you have filter and find important key points every time. But luckily, there are inbuilt functions within Excel f.e. VLOOKUP(), HLOOKUP(), COUNTIF() and INDEX(MATCH()), which can allow you to extract key points using given variables from a bigger data set. These can make your life easier and can automate processes which might take you long time to do. In this webinar, we will look at these functions and to see how they can be applied and in what situations are they most useful!
You'll learn:
-
How to set up the excel workbook to allow the dashboard to use pivot table to extract key information.
-
How to VLOOKUP() and HLOOKUP() to extract information across columns and rows
-
How to use COUNTIF() to determine the sum of variables
-
How to make use of INDEX() and MATCH() to find the matching value for a variable in a dataset.
