Surveys show we spend close to 40% of our daily time doing repetitive tasks. What if – there was a way to cut down on the busywork every day? What if – this skill is so simple that anyone with a computer or laptop could learn it?
This introductory workshop will demonstrate how learning Excel and VBA allows you to supercharge your work as a chemical engineer, whether you are working or still studying. As this is a hands-on workshop, attendees are invited to have your copy of Excel open and ready to follow the guided examples provided.
You'll learn:
-
Identify repetitive and non-value added tasks done by a typical engineer.
-
Demonstrate how Goal Seek can be applied in chemical engineering.
-
Demonstrate the basic concepts of VBA in excel
-
Showcase case studies using VBA in chemical engineering applications.
